What is a contact request?

A contact request asks someone to become your Air contact. You can send one using their username or from a group chat you’re both in.

Contact requests appear in your chats list with ⏳ before the name. Neither of you can send messages until the request is accepted. The person you send it to sees your display name and can view your profile picture.

A contact request expires after 30 days if it isn’t accepted.
