How to add an Air contact

To add an Air contact, send them a contact request, using their username or from a group chat you’re both in.

With a username

1. In Chats, select the compose button in the upper left corner.
2. Select New Air contact.
3. Enter their username, then select Check.
4. Select Send.

From a group chat

1. Select the person’s name or profile picture next to one of their messages.
2. Select Chat, then select Send.

You can chat once they accept. If they don’t accept within 30 days, the request expires. To withdraw it, see How to retract a contact request.
