How to edit a message

You can edit text messages you sent, but not messages with attachments.

1. On a phone, long press the message and tap Edit. On a computer, right-click it and click Edit.
2. Make your changes, then select the check mark. To discard them, select the X.

Edited messages are marked Edited. On a computer, press the Up arrow in an empty message field to edit your last message.
